The Redwood Gift Shop was a store in San Francisco's China Town. It was owned by Albin and Lillian Dittli. They opened it around the end of World War 2 and sold it about 1958.
The almost life size bear, carved from wood and holding a redwood burl plant, greated visitors as they entered the store.
