My father, Albin Dittli immigrated to California from his home in Altdorf, Uri when he was a young man, shortly after he graduated from college.
My mother was born in San Francisco, California. Both of her parents were born in the canton of Bern and immigrated to San Francisco, where they met and married.
These genealogies are provided as a service to help relatives, both close and distant, to discover their roots. To the best of my knowledge it is correct. However, some dates have been estimated because the source did not list a date. Also, place names starting with 'of' are names based on the residence of the parents because the source did not list a place name.
